Google Sightseeing: Street View Competitors, Part 2

Today, Part II  of my Google Sightseeing post on some of the street imagery services competing against Google Street View is up (Part I is here in case you missed it last week).  More specifically, these are services that beat Street View to the punch by reaches places Google hasn’t uploaded imagery of.  The Chinese search engine Soso, for example, provides street-level imagery for Tibet. Have a look and see what imagery provider takes you through the Danube delta, or gets you and up-close and blurry look at the original Olympic stadium!

    One of my my saddest days as a TA (well, funniest but in a really sad way) was when I had to mark a set of students' outline maps of North America which they had filled in. One student had Canada going all the way down to Central America and had the US down in Colombia. shockingly, that student did not end up passing the course.
